Northants Police name drivers charged with drink driving during Christmas period

Northamptonshire Police has named the first drivers who have been charged with drink driving as part of their Christmas campaign. A total of 300 people were breathalysed across Northamptonshire during the first week of the Christmas campaign and fourteen people have been charged with drink driving offences.


Jenny Jasim, 36, of Lower Harlestone, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after being stopped by police on Bridge Street in Northampton. She will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 27.


Anthony Stoppani, 46, from Yardley Gobion, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after being stopped by police on A43 near Towcester, He will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 27.Brian Walker, 27, of Rodney Drive, Corby, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after being stopped by police on Gainsborough Road, Corby. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 24, January. 


Andrian Cebotari, 30, of Llwellyn Walk, Corby, was a charged with driving while over the prescribed limit on London Road, Kettering, after colliding with a fence. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday, January 7.Joseph Cater, 23, of Boughton Lane, Northampton, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after colliding with street furniture on the A45 at Earls Barton. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 27.


Ricky Bizimana, 31, of Kinross Drive, Bletchley, was charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit after going through a red light witnessed by officers on St James Road in Northampton. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday, January 7.Ronald Chinosengwa, 32, of Goulsbra Road, Rushden, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after officers found him asleep and blocking a driveway on Bertone Road, Barton Seagrave. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday, January 7.


Razvan Cilof, 34, of Cedar Road, Northampton, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit, driving with no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, after being involved in a road traffic collision on St Andrews Road, Northampton. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday, December 31.


Chawa Chinkhumba, 28, of Castle Rock Drive, Corby, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after being involved in a road traffic collision on Dunedin Road, Corby. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday, December 31.Brian Devlin, 41, of Barnsley Square, Corby, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after being stopped by police on Jubilee Avenue, Corby. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on Monday, December 31.


John Sanderson, 27, of Smestow Street, Wolverhampton, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit and driving without insurance after being stopped on Stamford Road, Kettering. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on the Thursday, December 27.


Adrian Proctor, 36, of Arnull Crescent, Daventry, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after losing control of his car and crashing into a ditch on Welsh Lane, Thenford. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on the Thursday, December 27.


Susan Moulton, 45, of Wards Court, Brough, East Riding of Yorkshire, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after members of the public phoned in and reported her driving on Heyford Lane, Weedon Bec. She will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on the Monday, January 7.


John Partington, 33, of Osmund Drive, Northampton, was charged with driving while over the prescribed limit after being involved in a collision on Kettering Road, Northampton. He will appear at Northampton Magistrates Court on the Thursday, December 27.Melanie Baylis, 42, of Cross Lane, Braunston, was charged with failing to provide a sample of breath, driving otherwise than in accordance with a driving licence and for having no insurance. She will appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 20.

Northants police have also said that two other drivers have been arrested for failing to provide a roadside drug test and are awaiting the results from blood tests.
