A McDonald’s manager from Finedon, Wellingborough saw his life fall to pieces, after his Mother and Grandmother tragically passed away.

Daniel Abbot appeared before Northampton Magistrates this morning, after being charged for possession of cocaine and Cannabis, and driving without either insurance or an MOT test Certificate.

Mr. Abbot pleaded guilty to all charges today, after being found driving with a deal bag of cocaine, along with a full pot of cannabis, on the 13th October, after being stopped and testing positive for Cannabis.

The court heard how Mr. Abbot's life had taken a tragic turn after his mother and Gran passed away, leaving him spiralling into drink and drugs. This caused him to fall out of his stable managing career at McDonald's, which the defence says left him unable to keep up with insurance payments. The Judge heard as Mr. Abbot said how his father had also struggled with drugs and alcohol, and how he wanted to turn his life around.

Mr. Abbot was given a £435 fine to pay, with a 28-day collection order
